Hi, I'm TK Krumm. For me, real estate has never been about the transaction - it's always been about the person.
Long before I became an agent closing millions in residential sales, I spent over 20 years building a career inside a family-owned Honda dealership group right here in Connecticut. I rose through the ranks to manage a major division, working directly for the founders. It was a culture shaped by loyalty, and it was there I adopted a core belief that still guides me today: if you take care of your people, everything else falls into place.
However, when the matriarch of the founding family passed away and the next generation stepped in, I felt an immediate shift. Priorities moved toward balance sheets over relationships, and I realized I needed a change. I briefly transitioned into a leadership role at a commercial HVAC company, managing a large team. While the work was meaningful, I deeply missed the day-to-day connection with consumers.
Around the same time, my son-in-law and I launched a home-flipping side hustle. We handled full exterior and interior renovations, complete redesigns, roofs, windows and siding. I found myself incredibly happy evaluating properties piece by piece, spotting their true potential and identifying structural pain points. When the pandemic shifted the real estate landscape and flipping became less sustainable - that's when I transitioned to the retail side of real estate as my primary career.
I knew I needed to align with a brokerage that valued culture and human connection as much as I did, which led me to find my home with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices.
The results came quickly and organically. While I've been fortunate to exceed millions in closed volume annually and honored to receive the BHHS President's Circle and Honor Society awards year after year, you won't catch me posting about them often. I actually cringe at self-congratulatory posts because I'm simply not award-driven.
I firmly believe that top producers and top agents aren't always the same people. A top agent makes clients feel chosen long after closing day. My work is defined by the moments between the transactions. I'm the kind of agent who will borrow a tool belt to act as a listing handyman, climb a ladder to solve a problem, recharge a client's car's AC on a 100-degree showing day, or tie the shoes of those unable to do it themselves. I sit with my clients' pain points, not propaganda.
My clients stay in my life long after the keys change hands. We grab coffee, they call me for design feedback or life advice, and I remember their families. I do this because the return has always been obvious to me: a career built on people lasts longer than any market cycle or production milestone ever could.
My success might be measurable, but my true goal is for my impact on your life to be memorable. I'd love to help you find your next home or gain top dollar for the one you're in.
